Paul Revere's Midnight Ride

He was also a great horse back rider.That is why the colonists of the Revolutionary War chose him and two other men named William Dawes and Dr. Samuel Prescott to tell everyone the British are coming the British are coming. They rode through the city and told the church to light two lanterns. They only light the two candles if they were coming by sea. About two seconds the lanterns in the church were lit. At that point the colonists knew where the British were coming from so they began to attack the British.

So that is what William Dawes, Dr.Samuel Prescott, and Paul Revere did to help the colonies in there rough times.
